Everything you need to know before you ship

Before you ship

• Take it apart completely. Bearings, seals, rubber bushings and plastic do not survive 400°F. Anything still attached gets destroyed or has to come off here at your cost.
• Strip the extras. Stickers, tape, adhesive residue and old body filler all have to come off before coating anyway.
• Tell us about repairs. Cracks, filler and prior welds change what's possible. Better we know before it's blasted than after.
• Pack it properly. More parts get damaged in transit than in the shop. Wrap each piece, fill the voids, use a rigid box.
• Check the size. There's a limit to what fits in the oven. If your part is over 96" long or 150 lb, ask before shipping.

Your price is confirmed when the part arrives

The online quote is based on what you tell us. Every part gets photographed and inspected the day it lands. If it matches, we get straight to work and you hear nothing until it ships.

If it doesn't match — more rust than described, a part that's bigger than stated, something that can't be disassembled — we send you photos and a revised price. You can approve it, drop back to a cheaper spec, or have it returned uncoated at your shipping cost. Nothing gets coated until you say so.

Turnaround

• 10 business days from the day your parts arrive, not the day you order.
• Batching by color. Common colors move faster than one-off custom sourcing.
• You'll get tracking the moment it ships back, with photos of the finished work.

What we don't coat

• Firearms of any kind. Not without the federal licensing that requires.
• Medical devices and food-contact surfaces. Those need certifications we don't hold.
• Anything specced to AAMA, MIL-spec or Nadcap. We'll happily coat the part, but we can't certify to those standards.
• Assemblies that can't come apart. If the bearings won't come out, we can't help.
